About the Award-Winning Ring Design: The design takes its inspirations from the unique blend of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architectures. The Dome ring, as unique in its design that it is a modern interpretation of famous Domes of Hagia Sophia. The design is an outcome of the Phd research that Fatma Altinbas had held in Grand Bazaar for 2 years, about the history of jewellery manufacturing in the area. The Dome ring is crafted from 18-carat rose gold and adorned with a total of 0.22 carats of G color, VS1 clarity diamonds, both on the inside and outside.
This palette has a cozy feel, evoking comfort and energy.

Fatma Altinbas, creative director of Mevaris, is a third-generation member of a distinguished jeweller family from Istanbul. She had inherited her family’s love and admiration for precious stones and the craftsmanship which turn these stones into priceless pieces of art. Gaining acclaim for their meticulous workmanship, her family founded two of Turkey’s largest jewellery brands.
